Frank Bird Jnr
Following in the footsteps of dad Paul, Frank Bird Jnr is one of the UK’s most exciting up-and-coming four wheel racing stars.
While his own racing commitments have had to take a little bit of a back seat over the last 12 months to allow him to focus on PBM Racing, he is looking forward to getting his career back on track in 2025.
Frank Jnr made his racing debut in the 2015 Ginetta Junior series, scoring his maiden win at Knockhill. From there, he moved into single seaters for 2016, contesting the acclaimed British F4 Championship where he quickly established himself as a top 10 runner.
Sticking with single seaters in 2017, he moved to Formula Renault, competing in both the Formula Renault Eurocup and Northern European Cup Championships over the next two years.
In 2019, he made a foray into rallying and quickly proved a force to be reckoned with, taking five wins from seven events in the Motorsports News Circuit Rally Championship and has continued to compete in various rallies across the world alongside his circuit racing.
He made his GT World Challenge debut in 2020, quickly establishing himself as a rising sportscar star as he racked up race and class wins. In 2023, he was picked for the official Mercedes AMG Motorsport Team and tackled a number of European events in a factory-backed Mercedes AMG GT3 throughout 2023 and 2024.
Awarded the ‘Rising Star’ accolade by the British Racing Drivers’ Club (BRDC), Frank is as at home on gravel and asphalt as he is on the world’s leading race circuits. His 2025 plans are set to be revealed soon…watch this space!
