A weekend of progress for Hager PBM Racing Team
A solid foundation for the rounds ahead
Hager PBM Racing Team leaves the opening round of the 2026 ZYN British Superbike Championship at Oulton Park with clear signs of momentum, improved pace and a solid foundation to build on for the season ahead.
Across the weekend, rider Scott Redding and the team made consistent steps forward in the new Ducati V4 R's set-up, tyre performance and race‑run speed, translating into competitive lap times and a stronger race position over the three days.
With Oulton Park traditionally one of the most demanding circuits on the calendar, the team’s ability to unlock improvements session-by-session was a key positive.
In Race One on Sunday, Scott demonstrated encouraging pace over full distance, showing improved stability and corner‑exit drive. Sunday’s races continued that upward trajectory, with further refinements delivering greater consistency.
Co-owner Jordan Bird said the opening round provided exactly what the team needed: “This weekend was about establishing our baseline and proving the progress we’ve made through testing. Every session moved us forward, and the data we’ve gathered at Oulton Park gives us a strong platform for the next rounds. Scott and the team have worked tirelessly, and the steps we’ve taken are clear.”
With Round One complete, the team now turns its focus to further development ahead of the next event, confident that the direction is right and the potential is strong.
Hager PBM Racing Team would like to thank all its partners, sponsors and supporters for their continued commitment as the team continues its 2026 campaign.
