Saving the best 'til last!

The championship fight is ON!

What a way to finish the penultimate round of the British Superbike Championship!

Scott Redding and the Hager PBM Racing Team delivered when it mattered most, taking fourth place, second place and then victory in the final race of the day at Donington Park to keep the championship fight very much alive.

It was a hugely important result, with Scott going into the final race knowing he needed to make up ground on series leader Kyle Ryde. Incredibly though, there was drama on lap ten when the Nitrous Competitions Racing rider suffered a technical problem and was forced to retire from the race.

As a result, Scott’s dominant victory has cut Ryde’s championship advantage from 78 points to 53, setting up a thrilling finale at Brands Hatch. With just three races remaining and a maximum of 105 points still available, anything can happen. Scott and the team have given themselves a real opportunity to fight all the way to the end, and after this weekend’s result, there is plenty to be excited about!

Hager PBM Racing Team Co-Owner, Jordan Bird said: "I'm a bit speechless, really! Obviously, first things first, we're really sorry to Kyle – that's not any way that you want to win a race. We want to beat Kyle fair and square on the track, as we've tried to all year, so he'll be back for Brands, as will we.

"We're going to enjoy the moment though. There's been a dent in the championship and, though there's still a way to go, we'll be there, we'll try our best and we'll do everything we can to be ready for the Brands Hatch final."

The final three races are going to be something special. Bring on Brands Hatch!
