Redding secures Brands Hatch double

Hager PBM Racing Team locks in second overall

Hager PBM Racing Team rider Scott Redding fought to the absolute wire in the 2026 British Superbike Championship finale, securing second place overall in the final standings.

In a spectacular showcase of determination at the Brands Hatch GP circuit, Redding did the double by winning both Race One and Race Two to take the intense title fight to the final day of the season.

Redding began the final day showing dominant pace, topping the Sunday morning warm-up times with a 1:25.010s lap, edging out his title rival by just 0.051 seconds.

That speed translated directly into Race Two, where Redding engaged in a fierce, wheel-to-wheel masterclass with defending champion Kyle Ryde.

After trading the lead multiple times in a breathtaking midfield and high-speed battle at Paddock Hill Bend, Surtees and Hawthorns, Redding made a decisive pass down the inside at Stirlings to break away and claim victory. Though Ryde's subsequent podium finishes ultimately secured him the overall crown, Redding's fierce performance forced the champion to fight for every single point.

Redding concluded his stellar 2026 campaign with an accumulated 550 championship points. Over the course of the 33-race season, his champion-level pedigree yielded an impressive 9 race wins, 10 second-place finishes and 3 third-place podium positions.

  • Speedy League: He captured fourth overall in the final performance metrics with an aggregate score of 1801.9.

Redding’s incredible performance secured the Hager PBM Racing Team second place overall in the Ceratizit Teams’ Trophy classification. His results also anchored Ducati’s commanding victory in the Manufacturers’ Championship, wrapping up the crown with 662 total points.
